Unfortunately, this event has been cancelled very recently because of concerns about the Coronavirus Crisis.

Sorry, it's outside everyone's control.

Multi-instrumentalist and singer, Tim Edey, has toured the world and recorded with most of the major names in Celtic/Contemporary roots music including The Chieftains, Ry Cooder, Christy Moore, Sharon Shannon, Brendan Power, Seamus Begley, Kevin Burke and Mary Black.

He is rated by many to be one of the world's finest-ever Melodoen and Guitar players in today’s folk & contemporary scene.

Tim grew up in Broadstairs in a household full of music.

His mother brought her Irish and Scottish music with her across the Irish Sea.

His father, from the Chester / North Wales border, played the guitar and sang.

At home, he was exposed to a very eclectic mixture of music: The Chieftains, The Gallowglass Ceili Band, Ry Cooder, Simon & Garfunkel, Django Rheindhart, Bix Biderbecke, and he honed his unique styles on guitar and button box learning from his father Richard in family music sessions in the kitchen and listening to Ed Boyd, Steve Cooney and Django Reinhardt and players like Ben Dauncey, Sharon Shannon, Dermot Byrne and Seamus Begley.

Tim's live solo shows are a stunning blend of world-music-inspired instrumental virtuosity and passion with a strong Celtic theme.

He describes himself as “a celtic jazzer” and loves all sorts of music, particularly those with swing like gypsy jazz and Orkney & Shetland tunes.
