Mixed six-piece a cappella group, Broomdasher, has its origins in the Cecil Sharp House Choir and comprise original members Chris Hayes, Deena Marcus-Jedamzik who was mentored by Leon Rosselson, and Margaret Moore alongside ‘recent’ recruits Huw Davies, opera trained Josephine Swinhoe, and Richard Cryan.

They perform unaccompanied, singing traditional English folk songs.

Their songs feature some glorious harmonies and finely crafted arrangements.

The ensemble has already gained a reputation for its involving and animated live performances.

Broomdasher’s debut album, "Nothing To Do With Me (EP)" carries a prominent endorsement from Barry Coope, Lester Simpson and John Tams

“Brilliantly evocative and impressive voices. Passionate, powerful singing that will make you tingle.”
